Doesn't this basically mean UVA will be without several key players when the NCAA tournament starts?

UVA is happy with their seeding and doesn't want to risk injury before the tournament that matters. Smart play and I'm surprised more teams don't do this.

Basketball has literally the least amount of players and staff of any major team sport. How can you not keep your staff/players in check? Especially going into tournament season.

I’m already calling a 15 or 16 seed will have to be replaced by a bubble team because of COVID. Some top seeded team might get tested in the first round.

These conference tourneys were a disaster
SEC needs to shut it down before they eliminate one of their teams from NCAA tourney
