Wait.. why are they starting a new league when they already have The Spring League airing on their networks?

Not saying you dont , but alot of people dont know this. The spring leauge has been around since 2017.actually it was just changed from the fxfl to the spring league the fxfl or fall experimental football leagiewas started in 2014 and changed to t tsl in 2016 with the first season starting in 2017.
This means in 2019 there were these professional football league all in the same season.
Tsl
NFL
Xfl
The alliance
CFL
The arena league

I bet Herschel could still play.

If one of these leagues would put franchises in cities that don't already have an NFL team, they might have a fighters chance. These leagues always put these franchises in cities that already have NFL franchises and so there is never any excitement for more football.

I followed the Arizona Wranglers because of Alan Risher. He led the Wranglers to a major comeback win against the Chicago Blitz. The blitz and Wranglers would swap cities (franchises) for the next season in one of the most bizarre things ever to take place in sports. Risher was the only original Wrangler to stay with the team after the franchise swap.

I went to high school with Alan rishers grandson. Good kid and apparently his mom was my neighbor across the street bc he threw a couple of footballs with us when we were playing one day

Just merge it with the XFL and call it the USXFL. The XFL was taking off pretty well and selling out before China Flu came over.
This!
This XFL was a great product, and merge it with the USFL which I’m sure will be as well

I loved the USFL when I was a kid. Kelvin Bryant and the Philadelphia/Baltimore Stars.
I am hoping for a team in Omaha... the Nebraska fans are the most passionate I've seen. They will go to anything.

The XFL missed a golden opportunity when they folded up shop so early
They were doing pretty well and I think genuinely had a chance to make it before covid. This new USFL saw that and probably realized it's possible again.

Spring football is so stupid

After some reading, the initial run for ownership was TSL. They bought the rights to the USFL team names, and have now locked up a TV deal
