"The USFL is back.

The USFL announced Thursday it will begin a new spring league in 2022 with Fox Sports as its television partner.

The league will have the rights to old USFL team names, including classics like the New Jersey Generals, Oakland Invaders and Houston Gamblers."

Just merge it with the XFL and call it the USXFL. The XFL was taking off pretty well and selling out before China Flu came over.

For what it's worth, if this involves the return of the Boston Breakers, I'm totally on board.

Betrayal by investor, global pandemic...can't wait to see what eventually kills this league.

In all seriousness... the USFL, XFL, and CFL should merge into one mega Spring Football League.

Can't wait to watch the Montreal Allouettes battle their arch rivals, the New Jersey Generals for a spot in the Super Duper Bowl against the St. Louis Battlehawks.

That was the AAF. The first iteration of the XFL was done in by production issues and Bob Costas being a whiny beta.

In all of these new start up leagues like the XFL, AAF and now the USFL...they all keep doing one thing wrong...they keep failing to put a team in Columbus. The franchises have all primarily been in the south or west and in cities that already have NFL teams. Please, for the love of god can one of these leagues put a team in Columbus and reboot the Ohio Glory!! In all of these start up leagues, Columbus, Cleveland and Cincinnati have all been in the top 5 of market ratings...without a team. Put a dam team in Ohio!!!

Good old Babe...

Didn’t The Rock buy the XFL after it shut down and there was talk of a merger with the CFL?

So it’s the spring league that they have now but instead of the sea lions vs jousters it will be Houston gamblers vs New Orleans breakers. No thank you
