There's actually some good football being played especially the Michigan/ Houston game.
Question: what are the ticket prices for these games?

How could they think it was a good idea to have all games in one place? Last night had a good Cronus the home team was playing. They have about 100 people in the stands today.

For what seems like the 100th time:
At $10 a ticket and kids free they want TV viewers NOT butts in the stands. They don't mind butts in the seats but they really don't give a frick if anyone is there or not.

They are trying to keep costs down the 1st season.
Ask they move forward and become more viable they are going to start playing in each teams cities.

Has there been any talks of expanding to the other original cities.

They are not relying on fans filling the stadium to be profitable. Since the league is owned by Fox, they get all the advertisement money and don't pay anyone else for the right to broadcast the games.
Having all the teams in the same city makes very good financial sense the first year. All the players hotels, offices, meeting rooms, work out facility, and everything else is across the street from the stadium in the hotel complexes. All the teams share these facilities. Imagine the cost for a start-up league having to acquire all this in 8 different cities and having to deal with traveling costs. Eventually to keep fans viewing, home games will need to be available. However, I would bet they will consider maintaining the base for all teams in the same city. It is probably cheaper to do that and have both teams travel to the respective cities and travel back than maintaining 8 operating locations.

Seeing as they have Fox and NBC covering the games on flagship channels with fairly strong crews and graphics, I think the USFL knows what it's doing.
This league seems to have been tapped by the NFL and will likely be allowed to survive while the XFL will be crushed once again.
Did you notice how that lawsuit from the original USFL just got swept away? This league is the chosen one in regards to spring / minor league football.

I have heard yes, they want to expand and old USFL cities are supposed to be on the list.
San Antonio was mentioned specifically and some west coast teams.

If some / most of these teams are playing in the NFL stadiums of their home cities next year you'll know it's got significant backing and NFL backing.

I highly doubt that is part of their plan. You don't want huge but mostly empty stadiums. I suspect they'll use college and MLS facilities.
Breakers at Tulane, for example

League expects teams to be in their host cities next season. Based on trademarked team names, we could see expansion & the following divisions next year:
North
Michigan Panthers
New Jersey Generals
Philadelphia Stars
Pittsburgh Maulers
Southeast
Birmingham Stallions
Jacksonville Bulls
Orlando Renegades
Tampa Bay Bandits
Southwest
Houston Gamblers
Memphis Showboats
New Orleans Breakers
San Antonio Gunslingers
West
Arizona Outlaws
Denver Gold
LA Express
Oakland Invaders

That definitely works for the Breakers. I’m not sure you’ll have them using MLS stadiums, though, since they’re in the thick of the season now. 20,000-30,000 seat college stadiums make the most sense.

The XFL used two MLS stadiums in 2020.

Flag was thrown before the pancake. Huge call that makes no sense.

They're fricking our Breakers!
