I’ve never even seen a soccer score where one team scored 20+ goals in one game. What the hell happened to USA? all of their players break their ankles?

If there were men's college soccer scholarships available at every college in the country you can bet your butt there would be more boys pursuing that opportunity.

So yeah, Title 9 is holding men's soccer back. Look what those college opportunities have done for USA women's soccer.

This. Better U.S. athletes would pursue soccer to get college scholarships vs totally gravitating to other sports

Good. Maybe now people will shut the frick up about soccer and pretending like they give a shite about it once every four years. Beyond annoying.

Football starts in 55 days.

Chris in STL @seeeek · Jul 5 @TheDegenWeekly I'm unloading on Belgium. I think they have the better team, especially depth off the bench with lukaku. His size and strength, and speed coming on in last 25-30 is dangerous. Now, with red card stuff, 100% betting belgium. USA wins, i lose, but they advance

My soccer peeps told me before this started 16 was our most likely ceiling given our level of talent and it played out that way. We honestly did not look like we belonged on the field with Belgium.

The same peeps gave us a chance but I think they knew deep inside they just got caught up in the wave - as did I. Sorry we could not have at least been competitive.

Begone, soccer. From this board and our minds

I would rather do that with golf.

This is why Soccer is not a U.S. speciality.

American soccer players make far less money than other American professional athletes, and any American soccer prodigy worth a shite is shipped across the pond before they hit high school. It’s just never going to happen here.

Good case to end title 9

More like good case to end the pay to pay system.

Make the game accessible to everyone, but can’t do that because sOciALiSm bAd

Btw: the women are the only ones who brought home gold not once but four times.

Basketball and volleyball are obviously high scoring team sports.

What’s a higher scoring game: football or baseball? Baseball is.

If you just counted touchdowns, baseball would be. 3.5 touchdowns per game per team in the NFL. MLB teams score 4-5 runs per game. Hockey scores about 3 goals per team. Soccer is lowest with less than 2 goals per team.

NFL is a low scoring league

Say what?

Forget about points, goals or runs.

How often do NFL teams score? Less than MLB teams
