Funny how every country pronounces every other country their own way and this fricker gonna get mad that an American is pronouncing Iran like an American.

Props to that guy for handling that well.

reporter would never ask any hardball question back in Iran to a government official

He's the typical shitty media member

Mad respect for Tyler. Team chose him as captain and he’s one of the younger players on the squad. Also love in another interview I watched his favorite celeb is Dave Chapelle. Dude is chill

Great answer but we won’t win the World Cup until we embrace our culture and go full ugly America. Should have told him to frick off

You follow the game much more closely than I. What about the “scrubbing” of the Iranian flag on a social media post by someone associated with the USMNT? Apparently the post removed the symbol for Islam in the middle of the flag supposedly for the country’s treatment of women.

That pathetic "attack" at the end of the England game once the draw was already secure is why we won't win the World Cup in any of our lifetimes. We're like Cincinnati in the CFP. Just happy to be included and hope to not lose by too much.

It was fricking stupid and it was totally rogue since the marketing person/team never cleared it with the players/staff or even the US Government.

Biggest game for us in quite some time and we have idiots creating needless distractions with a half-assed attempt at "showing solidarity."

This is what I was hoping. There’s already been enough political pot stirring from all sides, imo.
