Told these Buskeye fans, here in Cbus, he was going to quit after this season. Told them he started doing the same thing at Florida. Acting like he was going to collapse on the sidelines. Starting up with the health issues. Although yesterday on the radio they said it was odd how he talked about not making the playoffs. Said it sounded like he was at peace with everything. Not the norm for an interview for him.

Since they are ready to announce the OC as the HC I am guessing this has been worked out for some time.

OSU is golden. Day is ready to step in full time.

I’ve been saying this since September he should have stayed out.

I'm surprised Ohio State's going to just give the job to a 39 year old first-time head coach without conducting a coaching search. It's an extremely desirable job. Why not kick the tires on Matt Campbell or some of the other top coaching candidates first before giving Day the job?

Will Ryan Day get a legit shot, or is this a clear transitional coach? I'd imagine it will be a small contract either way, but I don't know anything about him.

He should take the Tennessee job when it opens up. I never saw him looking uncomfortable in Neyland Stadium.

It’s legit. The first three games were his test, and he passed.
