Its pretty obvious that he was gone when the scandal hit, and Ohio State letting him coach this season was both their ways of trying to save face.

All the people trying to make it seem like he wasn't acting extra weird on the sidelines the last few weeks can suck it. Dude looked like a complete train wreck on the sidelines.

I think Day is the guy
He came to OSU as a Chip Kelly protege and has been groomed for a big job. He apparently was offered the miss state job last offseason and was in the final running for Colorado.

Cris Carter was interesting this morning. He's been telling Urban to hang it up, the medical stuff is a real concern, he didn't want to end up attending his friend's funeral, etc. I think Urbs had previously said in the last year or so, he wanted to give it a go for four more years and hoped to win two NCs.
Day is obviously a great tactician in obliterating Don Brown, I just hope the recruiting isn't quite as elite there now.

And if he was getting the offers Buckeye is talking about you might as well give him a shot. Shown that he can win, and is best case scenario for keeping recruits.
