ASU will be a sleeping giant until they get rid of their president, who was in bed with Larry Scott, who started this mess.

The other power brokers at that school need to kick that president's fricking arse if he has any plans but to take an invite from the Big 12. Like, today.

I would love to see ASU mess this up and WSU or OSU are able to take their place

The Big 12 would probably rather Utah State than either of those two.

I can see Cal dropping football, but Stanford? They’ve had a pretty solid program aside from the last few years

Can’t see them joining the MWC. Probably Independent

They have had like 2000 people max in the stadium for the last few years

That program is about as dead as it gets

I don't see how this adds value to the Big 10. Seems the portion each team gets will go down with the addition of Oregon and Washington, but what do I know I guess.

Oregon and Washington need to send flowers or something to Colorado. Who knows where theyd be if not for CU starting this

It would be Oregon State. The leadership at ASU is elite compared to the dumpster fire at Wazzu.

They aren't getting a full share.

And the 10:30pm time slot will have more potential teams.

Alright, so what other 2 teams will eventually get invites from the Big? I'm pretty sure they'll want to get to 20 teams

The belief is that the Arizona Board of Regents - which controls both Arizona and ASU - wishes for both to compete in the same conference.

While Arizona’s deal with the Big 12 reaches the goal line, Arizona State’s situation is less certain but should clear soon.
