I have a lot of patriotism for my country, none of that has ever manifested itself during the anthem being played at a sporting event, except for maybe a World Cup match and when an American wins gold at the Olympics.

I haven't been on the "I am not watching crowd" but not playing our national anthem would be the end all for me as well.
