Why kneel when I can just use that time to go to the bathroom for a quick pee break.

I'm just glad that you'll admit what others won't. I can respect that.

Yet there was 10 pages full of you shits triggered about the national anthem being cancelled

Some of yall live some sad lives to take this stuff so personally

What’s so sad about it?
We enjoy hearing the national anthem before a game.
It has been a tradition for many years and It’s all I know
To me it is patriotic and I love the 2 or so minutes of patriotism before the games

Y’all love it so much that y’all didn’t even notice it was gone from Mavericks games until someone pointed it out.

Y’all accuse people like Mark Cuban of grandstanding but the irony is that y’all are the ones grandstanding your love of the flag. None of y’all noticed it wasn’t being played.

Well of course, i don’t follow the NBA
But now that it is a story I will comment on it

He grandstands for being a liberal woke SJW
I grandstand for the American flag because unlike hearing it before sports games

Does it change my life that a sport/team I don’t watch stopped playing it? Nope
But am I going to comment on it because I can? Yes

Most retarded statement in this thread. It’s been stated over and over that the games played at home only had media. No fans. It was only once fans were in did this become a story.
They do not show the anthem on tv.

The media failed at their jobs by not reporting it before this, dumbfrick.

In case you are not aware, Cuban is now saying the entire thing was an experiment and never was going to happen.

If that doesn’t scream grandstanding idk what does. The entire thing blew up in his face.

Probably because none of them noticed it because 90% of people don't actually care about it. Writers want hits on articles and they would have published it if they noticed. Just like how most people don't notice when its on TV and continue grabbing food and drinks at parties while its on, then have a fake outrage like you guys in this thread are.

I’d love to hear how you classify the “outrage” by the crowd that is triggered by the national anthem. It’s always interesting to me to see people like you deride one side while acting like the other is justified in their irrational outrage

Its not the cause that makes an outrage fake, its the person doing the outrage. If you don't stop what you are doing and acknowledge the TV every time the anthem plays when you watch a game from home, then your outrage is fake because you don't actually care about respecting the anthem

Ah so im assuming you are one of the people i was talking about. Have no problem ignoring the anthem on TV to grab some food or use the restroom but as soon as someone kneels for it you get pissed

Fake. Outrage.
