I think he does a good job in general.

"I don't agree with this decision at all"
"Well it worked out for them"
Never fails.

He’s good but boring and monotoned.
And no one will ever convince me that he and Joe Buck haven’t touched penises.

Troy Aikman would fail a 1st grade special Ed class. He is singlehandedly the dumbest commentator in sports. My ears bleed hearing the stupidity he spews.
I’m completely serious, I despise him as a commentator.

Every year it's more and more obvious Troy is getting the same high as he was the year before on painkillers. His eyes are so glassy all the time.
Don't get this but speaking of pain
killers, what's the deal with Pam Oliver?
I've seen her slur her words countless times on the sideline and I've heard multiple reasons:stroke, concussions, substance abuse, etc.
I mean it's pretty obvious and I would think if it's a substance abuse issue it would have been addressed by now.

Troy is really good.
I am also a Joe Buck fan.

Romo on the other hand...the middle is wide open, they need to audible to X,Y,Z...red right 88, ghost to the post.
And then as the play is happening, Romo talks over it.
Romo seems to be pretty beloved on here, but I can't fricking stand him. All he does is try to predict plays.
Conversely, I think Cris Collingsworth is one of the best and he seems sort of hated on here.

The issue with Collingsworth is he doesn't shut up. He definitely has one of those "people watch the game because of me" mentalities. I don't think he's as bad as people make him out to be, and he does help fill in dead space; but shut the frick up sometimes
Romo has some of these tendencies as well, but there is still some excitement with him. Admittedly, it could also because I have only seen a handful of non-Saints games that he's called.

I don't agree. I hate his condescending chuckles.

Don't mind Aikman but Joe Buck is the Aaron Rogers of sports broadcasting.

I like Collingsworth, and Romo. They are the best IMO.

He knows what he is talking about. He just sounds miserable doing it. It’s almost like he is hating himself for having to explain the game of football to us simpletons

They are all bad. Airman. Griese. Collinsworth. Adam Archuleta did a game earlier this year and was the worst I ever heard. Worse than Phil Simms. Get off my lawn.

Aikman is pretty solid.
I kind of dig the Kenny Albert and Jonathan Vilma team.

Griese suggested the Bears go for 2 when they tied the Steelers 26-26

Dude is fricked up every game. Gotta be nice to be able to eat some painkillers while on the job though

I like him with Buck, they just kinda have that nostalgia that you're watching a prime mid-afternoon Sunday matchup. But Aikman speaks in so many platitudes and says the most obvious things. That's probably a good thing for the more casual fan but those who watch the NFL week-in week-out probably feel like they're being spoken to like we're idiots. He points out some of the most mundane things in the game and tries to emphasize it like it's a genius move. Literally did that last night with the timeout situation.

he's okay but sure don't need any sleep aid after listening to him
