He’s knowledgeable, objective, likable enough, and let’s things breath when needed (doesn’t overly chatter). Sure there may be others better than him, but I generally enjoy his games.

He's a square and a little up tight but I still prefer him over Romo. He provides very good analysis. Romo is the opposite. Personality driven commentary.

I generally like him. That Saints/Bucs game he was particularly insufferable though

Every year it's more and more obvious Troy is getting the same high as he was the year before on painkillers. His eyes are so glassy all the time.

Aikman makes observations but they don't get in the way..like tonight he'll say the middle is wide open the QB needs to recognize that or his receivers alert him.

Romo on the other hand...the middle is wide open, they need to audible to X,Y,Z...red right 88, ghost to the post.

And then as the play is happening, Romo talks over it.

painkillers

Reminds me awhile back I was behind Willie Roaf at the pharmacy. He could barely walk and it seemed obvious he was picking up painkiller refills. I imagine there's a lot of old NFL guys on pills

He’s turned into John Madden, he’s good but says a lot of obvious things.

Compared to 90% of the rest college and pro, he is one of the best. Have you heard some of these noon Sunday guys besides romo and nance and the Sunday night crew? Aikman is elite. Goes well with Buck

One thing I like about Aikman and Buck is their less is more approach. They don't feel the need to talk all the time, and I appreciate just watching the game and hearing the crowd noise without needless commentary when there's action on the field.

I think Aikman and Romo are both good in different ways, Romo being a little more upbeat and energetic can make a slow game more interesting to watch, while Aikman's laid back approach can let a great game speak for itself.

I will say though, Aikman and Buck can be a rough listen during a really slow game, really makes it a chore to watch when neither guy brings a lot of energy into the booth.

He’s good, but his hot takes are dumb as hell and makes it sound like he’s trying way too hard

Flores made 4 key decisions here, the 1st was taking the TO after Balt didn’t get the 1st down at the end of the half

WTF, all 32 teams take a timeout in the situation.

Also didn’t understand the “well here we go” comment when Buck brought up Cam signing w Carolina.
