Yup. Outplayed the Habs yet only got a loser point. Went from ticked about it to thrilled, such is the power of two goals taken away from Montreal due to video review. The MVP was the inanimate carbon rod.
Liked a lot of what I saw, but you gotta get results. Team looks a lot better, but looks don't mean squat if you don't get enough wins.

I love this play so far! Wish i could make it to a game this year. I have a few friends at the game tonight and they said although there are alot of Hawks fans there, the consensus is that theres not as much as there has been in the past.

That first goal hurt. Terrible giveaway. Played well for the most part towards the the later half of the 2nd and most all of the 3rd.
That bad bounce that led to the Rangers 3rd goal, well, thats just hockey.
Team needs to tighten up in transition. Both of the other goals were direct results of the team trying to move up ice in transition and turning the puck over.
Im happy with the play in the second half of the game. Elliot played well. We will be a much more offensively explosive team this year.
Hate having the season opener be a home game.
