Listening to 103.7 and all they have talked about since 7:00 is the ULL name. Maybe 2 minutes of the actual football game, which was a pretty big win for them last night.
Front page of advertiser is about the ULL name...not the game.
People doing the show just said, "The name thing is a bigger deal than the actual game. That's the problem."

I am an ul student and never understood why people freak out When someone says ull. Another thing I don't understand is they hate ull but they embrace usl.

I always go with Ooh La La. After the thumping they put on Arky State last night, I see them winning the Sun Belt with ease. Troy might give them a good game, or we might shite the bed. Hard to tell which team will show up. I don't see Monroe giving them much of a struggle. And I'm still not sure how good South Alabama is. We screwed around and let them back in it and had to score a TD in the final seconds to beat them, in Troy.

USL is nostalgic. ULL isn't recognized by the university. Also, I think people over exaggerate how many people get up in arms about it.

I also believe people over exaggerate. I never heard a student complain about hearing ull. The only time I hear the complaint is on TD and RP.
