They definitely did. And they might not even make it out of a regional. But people got irrational hate for the Cajuns this year.

I'm born and raised an LSU fan, but I'll be honest... I'm happy for ULL, I really am..

They're a small school from my home state and they're having a lot of success this year.... I think that speaks volumes about the level of baseball being played in Louisiana... For those of you who follow them closely, how many starters are from LA?

ETA: I would have zero problem with LSU wiping the floor with them of they met up in the post season

No, he's resting up for conference tourney and MAY get some relief work this series.
It was our midweek crew tonight. Saturday and Sunday starters will pitch next 2 games though

Dude is on fire. Did that ball Butler hit clear the scoreboard? Also the squeeze with Butler and Davis made me laugh

We are LOUISIANA. Nothing like getting your rivals hopes up then crushing them at the end.

I don't really consider them a small school. ULL is putting money into their facilities and they'll continue to get better in athletics.

The level of baseball in the state isn't really that great. There have been years where it was much deeper.

Year in and year out, the baseball talent in Louisiana is excellent. Just as in football, there are some years where the talent pool is deeper.

I'm the biggest LSU fan there is but I will be attending my first ULL baseball game today. Why? Bc I love watching good baseball and ULL is definitely playing good solid ball this year.

Butler's homerun hit off the clock on top of the scoreboard.

Baranik and Boutte are on pitch counts this weekend. Probably 3 innings only.
