No Conor or Bones is a huge miss.
Main event is cool but Gaethje should be a heavy underdog. If he pulls the upset he'll be an American legend.

Pereira vs Jones fell thru. Gane was the backup fight.

What were the numbers? How far apart were they? Jones is the biggest star but he's aging. Fighting at the White House would have been a perfect time to win and walk away as the GOAT!

I would have been so conflicted on who to root for if that fight happened. I absolutely love Pereira and hate Jones but it would be hard not to root for an American on a White House card.

Jon was never a high ppv draw. I’d say the biggest ufc stars as of now is Pereira, Ilia, Islam.
I said a while back that if Jone didn’t fight Aspinall, Dana will throw him under the bus every chance he gets. Dana doesn’t forget and hold grudges for making him and the ufc look bad.

As big of a Conor fan as i am, that is an absolute nightmare matchup for him and wouldnt even be a fight

honestly the fight they missed out on was strickland vs chimaev. thats the fight that would have been perfect for this card but maybe they didnt want the heat that fight would bring or chimaev couldnt get the proper clearance.

This is kind of a let down card for the white house. No jones, McGregor (lol just for the views he would bring), Islam, olivera, aspinal, volk, kamzhat etc. I will say it would have been pretty crazy for a nate diaz and McGregor match. Talk about views

Yea that would have been a good fight but they probably didn’t want Sean talking at the White House and chimaev probably couldn’t clear security

This is just the announced card. If you don't like this then wait until everyone starts pulling out due to injuries or whatever. It's also funny that the main event is set up for an American to get KTFO by a guy the fans will think is Mexican.
