I get not liking ground control fight though, especially with Grasso being so skilled at avoiding damage from her back

Think the food for thought is, what's the difference between a fighter rocking another fighter on the feet with the ref inches from stepping in as opposed to a fighter who sinks in a choke or lock with the ref watching closely for a stoppage. In both cases, you have a fighter in trouble and in danger of a stoppage, but they're weighted very differently.

Tonight has been way too ethic for me, to the point where I weep that our future looks and sounds like this.

But I feel evil saying that bc it's been awesome event and these are just my personal biases

Watched the mayweather gotti fight, I appreciate Dana and how there’s not 40 people walking in with the fighters and how smooth they move to the next fight.

Time marches on, brother. There are cultural things going on globally that supercede politics that are making it inevitable. We don't have to embrace it, but there's not a lot of value in losing sleep over it.

Tonight was a good show of there being a lot of good in Hispanic culture.

a choke you aren’t super likely to have brain damage if they catch it right when you go out

vs getting your head slammed against the matt a few times by hammer fists if getting knocked out.

Not really the discussion. We're talking about how certain situations are scored. (i.e. nearly putting a fighter out on the feet vs on the ground).

There's pictures and angles where Valentina looks good, but...

That was crazy. I thought Merab had completely lost it or something serious had happened in the audience.

This is what I thought Aljo would do to O'Malley but it didn't materialize.
