NFL big boys could beat someone well below their weight. Connor at 170 would certainly be in danger from a dude 250+
You would be surprised how little that size matters when it’s not attached to a real fighter especially if they are engaging with one. It’s just a different thing. Being big and strong is not the same as being a professional fighter.

My friend and I were debating this.
jesus christ. how long did it take you 2 to come to the conclusion that it would even be competitive?
UFC fighters are a different breed. they would kill any NFL player withing 80 pounds of them

This sounds like the old "I bet Alabama could beat the Browns"

Jon Jones has two brothers who are in the NFL, Chandler Jones and Author Jones. Pretty sure those guys can fight pretty good too since they have taken part in his fight camps before.

Not sure if Eryk Anders from Alabama played any pro ball, but he is a UFC fighter

With my very anecdotal evidence, I bring this.
In college when I was playing football I decided to have a friendly match with my friend. He is a guy who trains for mma and competes in a number of different amateur matches locally. He was probably about 160-170. On the other hand I was in my best shape from football at about 255. The only mma experience I have is watching it on tv.
I did not last 20 seconds. After trading a few punches back and forth. I lunged forward to tackle him to get him on the ground. That is where I messed up. He did some type of move to put me on the ground, and almost immediately put both my arm and leg into a lock. I figured since I was alot bigger and stronger I could break free from any lock easily. I was wrong. I was stuck and could do nothing but tap out.
Again this evidence is extremely anecdotal. I never even sniffed the Nfl, and while my friend is still fighting, he is not in the UFC. The point still stands, a UFC fighter will destroy an NFL player one way or another

There are weight categories, so your argument is dumb

That is far from the only reason it is dumb. I will say at least the OP is open enough to ask. He seems to have learned from his question, which is more than many other ignorant people.

There's being open to ask, and then there's OP.
Zeke vs Jon Jones? Come the frick on

I’ll take Pac-Man Jones

UFC guys know what they are doing bro. In most cases they could simply wait out an opening and simply choke out or break a bone of the NFL guy if they were fighting. These guys also punch people for a living. Connor punching a 300 lb lineman is still going to really hurt and Connor would be so much faster he could land shots at will. Best shot a big guy would have against a lighter fighter like connor would be to just try and grab him and ragdoll him into a wall or something. But I would still bet connor could avoid that and win in most cases.
