Every time Robert throws a wild shot he gets clinched or taken down, with the exception of the 1 knockout. He could jab RDR to death and win this.

Think this was the difference. Robert could've outpointed RDR in the final two rounds by just jabbing him up. Instead, he seemed to be unsuccessfully hunting a finish while RDR was profiting from control.

Tough decision. Thought the knockdown prolly won it for Whitaker. First time I’ve seen RDR fight, he’s bad on his feet besides those knees but seems like his length gives people real problems along with having to worry about his takedowns. Got to give him props for coming back from that big shot. Also to his credit he had Whitaker on the ropes before he landed that haymaker
