If opposing fighters don't want this shite to happen, learn to defend against it.

The goal is to win. If he can do that by takedowns every round, why would he move away from his strength?

But Khamzat is Walter White... I'd be surprised to see Khabib come out of retirement but that would be the match to make. I don't think anyone else is beating Chimaev.

On another note you have to respect DDP on the count that Khamzat was extremely worried to stand up with him and the fact that DDP was on the ground with Khamzat for 21:40 and somehow did not get submitted.

these fighters hate Western Civilization, support arranged/forced marriages, disrespect women even when in the U.S. (UFC reporters, staff, etc.), and 95% of them all have the same holding down style to win fights while doing minimal damage.

MVP continues to win proving that style is a nightmare to deal with, Lerone is prime for a title shot, and we now all think DDP sucks and is overrated because he lost to an absolute grappling lunatic which anyone could see coming from a mile away. Did i miss anything?

I wouldnt say everybody here LOVES that style of fighting, just most non casuals respect that its apart of the game and usually know when its coming depending on the matchups. Khabib was the same way when he was dominating. It's like when casuals would buy a Mayweather fight then bitch about it being boring because they went in not realizing that Floyd is a defensive counter puncher so you're buying to watch his skill more than to be entertained and see a brawl

I agree it isn't the most entertaining, especially when its a matchup with somebody that is out of their league against a grappler. But you also get awesome grappling matchups like Merab vs Umar. Sad thing is Khamzat is probably going to do this to 90% of the guys he faces defending the belt, but at least everyone knows that to expect now

In regards to the Russians being better at grappling than the rest of the world and dominating, Chael brought up a good point. He said that they're not training any different than Americans or other nations, its just that that's all their is to do over there. They dont have baseball, basketball, football, etc. so all their best guys eat, sleep, and breathe wrestling. Combine that with their disciplined lifestyle that revolves around exercise and prayer and has no distractions from money, partying, drinking, or women and of course they're going to be tought to beat.
