Naw, he means who's a team that can step up and actually beat a team like Florida.

I've sat here for ten minutes trying to think of someone that has the roster to be able to compete, and I just can't think of anyone that would be able to.....

I think it's going to be another Florida vs. Oklahoma NCG.

UF versus whoever wins the Red River Shootout seems like a pretty safe bet

What did Texas lose? I know OU lost a couple OL, but that's about it, correct?

Both Texas and Oklahoma are damn good and could beat Florida in a NC game. But more importantly I have learned that there is no such thing as an unbeatable college football team. There are several games they could lose. That 2005 USC team was awesome and yet they almost tripped up to a few inferior teams (including 4-loss Fresno State), before losing to Texas

UT loses Orakpo and Cosby, but on the whole not too much. they need to find a RB though. OU loses a bunch of the Oline, but basically every other team in the country has bigger question marks than they do

had Sanchez returned, I would have said UF/USC, but I agree with you odds are on UF/OU

USC has the roster to compete, but if they have the team to is yet to be seen.

he was fricking good last year when he was healthy and not putting the ball on the ground, which was about 5 game. He averaged over 7 a carry without playing against either Washington school

I really think Curtis McNeal is our best back

Oh God, please NO! I would have to move out of the state. I would never hear the end of it if UF repeats.

BTW- LSU #6 in Athlon, # 17 in Lindy's ????

I agree without a doubt Florida is the no. 1 team in the country.

But for me, as well as countless Tiger faithful, there's the fact that LSU faces UF at night in Tiger Stadium. And really thats' all that matters.

Crazy things happen in that stadium at night. So Oct. 10 get ready.

For some reason I just get the feeling that Florida 09 = Miami 02. They'll roll against their tough games, almost slip up on a weaker team, be a huge favorite against whoever they play, then choke.

I feel bad for whatever team gets lead to slaughter against them in the MNC. I'll feel REALLY bad if its OSU...

This is the game I could see them losing. A la Miami in 2003. Although I don't think the Buckeyes will be the one to do the upsetting this time.

That USC team had a severe weakness in the secondary that was exacerbated by injuries and was super young at LB and still almost won a national title

Its easy to say that NOW after VY tore your asses up!!!
