Still doesn't make up for your decision to leave the SEC. At least Ga Tech joined in the ACC later. I suspect that Tulane might have been able to do the same thing.
I don't mind seeing Tulane do well. I like to see Tulane do better than USL, La Tech, etc.

That’s good, but the fact they’re ranked ahead of LSU is laughable.

LSU have bonkers talent, but the results don't scream elite.
Tennessee are in the CFP race, so I excuse that loss.
Auburn and UF are very down, which is hurting you.
With that said, you beat up the #24 team - Miss St - so maybe the correct answer IMO is to swap LSU and MSU in the rankings.
I am also convinced that LSU beats about 5-7 of the current T25 - not just Tulane.

People make fun of me for the uniform and field decor threads but Tulane is proof positive that having cool uniforms and mixing it up is part of the overall health of the programme

USM is a rival and Tulane had beaten them a couple of times recently.
Will Hall has done a decent job (from what I have seen) of bringing in talent and changing the culture. He is a solid coach and was sad (but happy for him) when he left Tulane.

And multiple injuries coming out of the K State game -- including the QB, who while a warrior, needs to come out when he's hurt.
That's the issue that will grab Tulane -- just not enough depth at the end of the roster. Only go about 35 deep on the roster.
