quote:

As the Dolphins moved into the top spot in the AFC East, the former Alabama All-American joined Dan Marino as the only Miami players to throw at least three touchdown passes in three consecutive games. Marino had four such streaks – two of three games, one of four and one of seven. The most recent came in 1988.

But Tagovailoa did something not even Marino did: Post a streak of three games with at least three TD passes without throwing an interception.

The production allowed Tagovailoa to become the fourth player in NFL history with a three-game streak of at least three touchdown passes and 285 passing yards and no interceptions. He joined Tom Brady in 2007, Aaron Rodgers in 2012 and Patrick Mahomes in 2019.

All I saw during the offseason was how much Hill would miss Mahomes because Tua has a noodle arm.

Hill currently leading the league in receiving yards.

Dolphins coach is pretty good. Tua is much better off with him.

Tua is 14-1 in his last 15 starts with nothing close to elite defense. He is my MVP.

Since he's not an OSU qb I suppose I can cut him some slack.

This board is retarded and forgot that Tua lit up SEC defenses for two years.

I see we’re still cherry picking last year to avoid 3 loses. The Dolphins started 1-7, then went 8-1. The first win was vs Houston which Jocoby Brissett started Not sure who started vs Baltimore but Brissett threw 10 more passes. Tua started the next 7 which they went 6-1. The wins and opposing QBs:
Jets Flacco
Car Newton
Giants Glennon lol
Jets Z Wilson
Saints Ian Book lololol
Patriots M Jones
You don’t need the 85 Bears D to beat that collection of crap QBs. Who’s the best one, Jones? Who was a rookie?
The one loss was to Tennessee, which coincidentally was the only playoff team they faced and Tua was crap, they only scored 3.

Tua is playing great this year. New coach is the biggest plus, the addition of Holl certainly helps. But let’s stop acting like questioning him going into the year was not warranted. He did nothing last year except start some games against crappy teams and horrible QBs that the Dolphins won

Tua has become a really good QB this season with the addition of Hill. I'd say he's in Mahomes league this season with the way he's been playing for Miami. He just needs to stay healthy, that's the main concern for him.

He's playing better than Justin Herbert and nobody would have ever thought that possible before this season.

Also shows that Brian Flores is a fricking dumbass.

Cheery picking?

He’s 22-9 as a starter. Prob Top 5 win % in league history with a 30 start minimum

Tuas biggest con was that he's made of glass.

Outside of that if he's healthy, he's one of the best in the league.

Brian Flores is gonna lose his lawsuit about getting fired because of racism, because clearly he got fired for being a retard and a bad coach

Tua was legitimately the best quarterback I've ever seen at Alabama. Even those passes that his detractors (and there are many, even among Bama fans) say were risky 99% of the time fell exactly where he wanted them to. His awareness and accuracy was just uncalculatable.

What he did here was next level and he's finally with a coach and system that can play to his strengths.

Tyreek Hill on pace to catch for over 2,000 yards this season.

Hands down the biggest offseason acquisition.

Hill only has 3 TD's though.

Surprising.

When you say he’s 14-1 in his last 15 that is by definition cherry picking. If someone is 14-1 in their last 15, I guarantee they are 14-2 in the last 16

In 2021 Excluding Buffalo were he got hurt early and Baltimore where Brissett played more. The Dolphins were 7-4 with Tua last year, 8-5 if we include those but as I said 6 of those down the stretch were against complete garbage teams with bad QBs. Look at his stats it was nothing special. 2600 yards 16-10 TDs. The only good team they played Tennessee beat them 34-3.
I don’t know why Tua-Stan’s get so upset by that fact They fired the coach and brought in an offensive coach to help out and traded and extended T Hill.

There were rumors the Dolphins were trying to trade for D Watson in the off season. As a Texans fan I was all for them getting Tua in a deal. I’ve said he’s playing well this year. But he didn’t last year, it’s really not that hard to understand.
