So the staff forced out a 4 star (Quinn) & 5 star (Johnson)? I find that hard to believe, but it really doesn't matter now, because both have moved on. It sure would have been nice to have them on the roster.

I am Not getting your point about O and Paul.

Should we not like them?
Thats the entire point...

People want to say Quinn "quit on Lsu" so good riddance

Well, so did 2/3 of our major head coaches

I for one say all 3 of them made decisions to better themselves

But a lot in here apparently think O and Paul are quitters

According to Quinn in a recent interview, Miles and Cam told him he didn't really fit the type of receiver they were going to start using.

But I dont Like Paul because he went to LSU.
He won a CWS. If he neve came here and won a World Series I would Say starting a hung of threads about his BA were fricking ridiculous .

That just seems so strange. If they needed to process, it seems like they could have picked kids who hadn't played at all and weren't rated so high.

Loved Quinn. Was better off transferring as his game was not suited for LSU. For those idiots who claim he quit LSU only verify their idiocy. He did what was best for him after Cameron stated he didn’t fit their mold. Guess you morons think he should have stayed anyway huh? Showcased his talents and hopefully he gets a shot next level this year or next

He used the terms "bigger and faster"... it read like it was a little self deprecating, but the context was there that they wanted to get the Dee Andersons and Stephen Sullivans of the wr core on the field.

So, 6'0 - 6'1 195 lbs. or so fast receivers didn't fit their scheme? If there was an emoji of someone scratching their head, I would use it.

In all fairness, the QB at the time needed barn-sized WRs.

Just saying what he said in some Dallas publication a month or so ago.

I saw a few of your "he quit" post, so I know it doesnt fit your narrative. It would work better if he said "after a couple of drops in a big game, and even though the next year I caught every ball thrown my way, coach Miles wouldn't guarantee 100 targets so I cried and stomped out, heading to SMU"?

True. Horrid QB play from Jennings and Harris... the receivers were doing good not to get killed by their shitty throws. Hell, OBJ dropped a shite ton with Mett throwing to him.

Didn’t read the thread. But I hope someone pointed out:

1) he plays in an offense that is built on easy throws and catches
2) he is playing alongside a guy projected to be drafted in the top 20. The opposing team would rather let Quinn average 11 ypc than get burned by Sutton. Quinn isn’t top 200 in FBS in YPC

The amount love for a guy who was rightfully benched and then bailed on the team rather than try and earn his spot back is insane.

It's because he's white.
