Disagree, the year he sat behind Tua he developed a ton and worked his arse off. He was a completely different QB after that.
OU helped him immensely, absolutely, but he definitely got a ton out of the year he sat too.

Anyone who has a pair of eyes that watched OU this year , especially last week, knows Rattler is done. Just because you are #1 or top 5 coming out of HS doesn't mean shite in college or NFL. Look at Christian Hackenberg and numerous other failed QB's

I cringe remembering all the recruiting board guys saying they’d rather have Nuss. I know it’s out of denial, but I can’t imagine saying that and be sane in doing so.
I hope Nuss is great and think he can be a good QB, could be Burrow’esque in regards to how he plays and if he blooms at the position with a great new staff and OC.
But Williams, imo, was always going to be a great one. Dude oozes that ‘great’ aura. Seems to be a not only a great player, but a leader and a guy his teammates rally around.
