Pels won't make the playoffs and if anybody disagrees holla and we will work something out.
Just saying we don't take kindly to the trolling comment esp since we had the best predictions last season on the MSB.

The guy who called me a golden nugget troll for having the nerve to point out having a trade worked out not making it then having that guy walk to the team for nothing in return, is probably not the best way to continuously run an NBA franchise
.to even suggest that its a stupid or hot take shows you have your head so far up ur arse you can't breathe its 5x worse than what the Indy gm did because his trade value wasn't even sabotaged. I mean at least he can say he took it personal, Atlanta gm is just stupid. But skip and ESPN hasn't given u the days talking points yet so u must be confused having to think for urself and all

No kidding. That's why the owner finally hired a GM and has let him start to do what he thinks is best.
They've made some screw ups for sure, but I really don't see how you bring Demarre Carroll into the situation. You think they were going to bust up probably the best Hawks team ever before the playoffs?

Ill give u Carroll. But no excuse not getting anything at all from Denver at the deadline. Hell they don't even want Danilo Gallinari u could have test drove him. They got 85 shooting guards, etc. Nothing. At all. And I'm not even piling on u get it in responding to the idiot who called me a troll for having an opinion

My point is that the owner overrode Wes and Bud. Those guys didn't make that decision. It was squarely on Ressler, the owner. He even said it himself.
Ressler has appeared to let Schlenk run things so far, so it should be a step in the right direction. Might as well start a rebuild than sit in purgatory.

Easily top 5 teams is gsw, sa, houston, okc, minnesota.
But the next 6 are a slugfest: LAC, Utah, Denver, Portland, New Orleans, and Memphis.
Utah with Hayward is a lock to me, They're still good defensively. Without and it's closer to where LAC is.
Denver with Millsap pushes them in as well imho
LAC is downtrending, losing cp3 and reddick takes away a lot of offense. Can dj be a bigger contributor? Can Blake stay healthy?
Memphis may lose a contributor. They won 43 last year, but all season it felt like they overperformed.
Portland and New Orleans have a full offseason to get adjusted, neither will make significant moves. The healthier one of these two make it.
ETA: I was going to add Dallas, but I feel like they're going to ride Smith and let him learn mistakes and all.

Before FA I thought Pels had a legit chance to push for a 4 seed if we got the right breaks in FA.
After these past few days it's looking like we'll be battling for a goddamn 6-8 seed. It's going to be one of those years where a 45 win team won't make the playoffs in the west.
