The Mavs aren't throwing big money at players this year b/c they want to have money to sign Curry next year. They don't have his Bird rights.

Curry came on strong at the end of the season, plus you gotta love the pedigree.

last year shot: 48.1/42.5/85.0 (4.6 attempts a game)
12.8 PPG, 2.6 RPG, 2.7 APG (1.3 TOV)

Average defender

If his volume goes up and maintains the 40+% shooting like he has done the last 2 years, than he's going to get paid well like one of the top SGs in the league. He'd be 28 going into the season, a 20mil annual deal wouldn't be completely ludicrous if Reddick gets another 20mil+ multi-year deal

I'm guessing they are trying to split that exception between Swaggy and Dedmon unless they have more money somewhere else

Also I'm assuming Livingston is gone. The Lakers could definitely offer him a sizable deal. Plus it fills the need of a backup PG

He already re-signed bud

Yep, and Woj delivering the financials:

Kyle Lowry has agreed to a three-year, near $100M deal to return to Toronto, league source tells The Vertical.

I'm convinced Iggy and especially Livingston have some under the table deal with a Silicon Valley connection to take less money. I mean has Livingston ever gotten a big pay day since destroying his knee?

It's been mostly league minimums for Livingston

Damn Lowry got PAID.

Maybe a full season with Ibaka will get them over that postseason hump

Oh Iggy definitely is taking advantage the tech/investment opportunities in GS and that has played a huge role.

As for Livingston, part of it is that he is physically limited still. I've read before that he can't play over 18-20 minutes in a game or something like that.

Speaking of endorsements, Klay is now in the NBA top 10 in endorsement money which is hilarious to me.
