Ugh CC wouldn't have gotten their MLE without trading for him. Oh and unlike George Paul isn't a one year rental.

Who is the elite defender you're talking about.

This is where I admit I have no idea who Alan Williams is

He was pretty beastly down the stretch last year. Plays center.

Clippers really striving hard to be a 9th seed

For real. Do not understand this rationale. They legitimately think they compete in the West sans Paul. They still don't have a PG

I wish Dallas would go after him so we could finally stop with the two PG starting lineup and put Matthews at the SG where he belongs

OKC couldn't even keep Gibson around he'd rather go to sub zero Minny.
OKC will still have a better offseason going into next year than Houston

Impossible. CP is better than George and Tucker is also on his way. And not done yet.

Speaking of Dallas, they've done absolutely nothing in the offseason. Only buzz I heard was them pursuing Jrue but even that was half-hearted

Like I previously posted in this thread, it basically goes like this for us:
The offseason for Mavs fans:
As all the other teams get rumors there way:
Seeing all the cool stuff happening with other teams:
Then finally realizing nothing is really going to happen for us:
Basically we're just waiting for the market to dry up, sign Noel and then move on to another season of challenging for the 7th or 8th seed and getting swept in the first round as Cuban wastes the remaining years of Dirk's career. I was just happy the Knicks took Frank before we could pick so we would have to take DSJ, who is probably my second favorite guy in the draft behind Isaac

The Mavs aren't throwing big money at players this year b/c they want to have money to sign Curry next year. They don't have his Bird rights.
