Hence why I said "pretty much". Context of the situation matters.

If you go by the rule book the answer is 100% NO. However, if you ignore the rule book then you're damn right it's a catch!

Right. Rule sucks, but was called correctly.

By the old rules from about 5-6 years ago, that I wish we still had, yes it was a catch.

By these modern rules which are retarded, no it wasn't a catch.

According to the rule? How ever many it takes to complete the process of the catch. And they followed the momentum as he took the steps/came down. At least that's how it's been explained in the post-game.

Three steps, swiches hands, dives off one foot. puts hand down to brace his fall reaches out with ball under control. Such an indefensible reversal. I'm just numb.

so dez reaching for the endzone, clear intent, doomed him, since he just as easily could have tucked the ball as he fell.

By rule, that is a catch.

People are just listening to Mike P (the rules official on FOX), and using his opinion. However, he's just being a classic official refusing to admit his first reaction was wrong.

Howie wanted to call him out on it, but he didn't.

That was a catch, by rule. The football move is when he tried to reach the ball into the end zone and score. The rules aren't wrong. The officials got it wrong. And they REVERSED that call.

Terrible.

Like I said, though, Dallas screwed themselves plenty in that game. Those are the screw jobs they should be focused on. In no universe should they have had to rely on a last-minute drive to beat the team the Packers put on the field today.

He definitely took 3 steps after th the catch, then a dive.

I don't think that part is up for debate to be honest.

the dive was not as clear as some are making it out to be

I still think he fell

It's a tough break, and one can bitch about the rule all day long, but I thought it was the right call.
