We all know he will have 3 after next season after that nobody knows. Wade is breaking down. So he will have to find someone else to ball with. We will see.
Yeah I think Wade is a non factor after next year and Bron ends up leaving.

I dont see how Stern doesnt realize his infatuation with basically making 5 or 6 teams matter and thats it, hurts the overall league.

i think the ratings pick up when the "Right" teams are doing well. he cares about the bottom line

it's not like there was anything stern could do to stop the big 3 from joining anyway

Chances LBJ is forced to "retire" for two years because of gambling and we give them those two championships and MVPs just because?

Ratings are up.

And ratings were best during Laker/Celtic dominance in the 80s and Jordan dominance in the 90s. But yeah, the NBA is just itching to get some of that parity.

I know, and with that marketing/business strategy in mind super teams are good, but I think the NFL is an untouchable product. I remember being amazed at my friend paying $200 to watch the lions go winless

I think he'll lose his fire after three or four. He won't make it to six in my opinion.

How do you feel about Kobe and Shaq pairing up for 3 titles?

I'd love for them to lose but who do you see beating them? 2 in a row and he's a transcendent player. 6 isn't crazy

I'd say right now he'd get 4 minimum.

You look at the East in the next 5 years:

Chicago - Healthy Rose with still relatively young core once they get rid of Boozer
Miami - LBJ and Bosh, Wade is probably done in another 2 years
Indiana - Paul George, Roy Hibbert, David West is a FA
NY Knicks - Melo and ...?
Cleveland - Kyrie, Waiters, possible Lebron?
Washington - Beal, Wall, ...?

I think its gonna be Miami and Chicago for a while atop the East after this year.

All depends on what happens in 2014. Heat owner has already hinted that the big 3 can't stay together under the new CBA.

So we complain about players only playing for money andnot ccaring about winning.

Then complain about players clearly putting winning ahead of everything else?

completely disagree.

They can get rid of max contracts and every team would have only one superstar on it, and I promise you the league would not be as popular as it is right now

Which isn't really a good thing for the rest of the league.

The Heat might be better off if they get rid of Wade soon and get even younger.

Wade right now is awful, and his health is gonna be an issue for the rest of his career.

I've mentioned this before, though I wouldn't saying it like that.

But Arison has definitely made it clear that he won't send crazy amounts of money and lose tons of money just for the sake of winning.
