not 1 not 2 not 3 not 4 not 5 not 6 not 7

After 2014, Chris Paul will sign with the Miami Heat and Dwayne Wade will resign with a lower salary and act as a sixth man.

He has a good shot IMO, any team he plays for will probably be a favorite from this point out. If he stays in Miami I think they will add another huge name after 2014 to compensate a aging Wade. Whatever team he plays for will attract another big star or will already have one if he does leave Miami. Lebron is so far ahead of everyone else that he will still be all star caliber when he gets 36ish and maybe even a little older.

derp, leagues best its been in years

Two years ago was a great season. Last year was pretty solid for a short year.

This year has been pretty boring. Insanely predictable and a lot of missed games for stars.

The league overall is great right now, but Rondo's point holds water because the Heat being so much better than the competition makes the season less interesting.

It took him nine years to win one.

And you think he's gonna get six?

Hell no.

It's basically the same as it was when the Bulls were winning their championships. You knew they were going to come out on top every year. Only one team took them to a Game 7 during those years (Pacers in '98 ECF) and even then you knew the Bulls would pull through at home.

I am not sure the Heat will even be the favorites in the East much longer

I'd love to hear who is gonna challenge them from the East

That makes no sense for Chris Paul or the Heat.

So we complain about players only playing for money andnot ccaring about winning. Then complain about players clearly putting winning ahead of everything else?

I think people only complain about him leaving to join up with wade and bosh when people argue that he is the GOAT and better than MJ. if it wasn't always about whether he's better than MJ or not, no one would make as big a deal about it because he "couldn't win it on his own". That's why people don't make as big of a deal about pierce or Garnett because there not always being compared to MJ and being called the best of all time.

i truly believe a lot of the hate for LBJ leaving Cleveland from non-Clevelanders are MJ fanboys who are pissed Lebron didn't just stay and waste away in Cleveland. He was never a threat there. Ya he made it to a finals singlehandedly, and yes he might cash in one or two for the cavs, but he'd never come close to MJ's 6. MJ jock sniffers felt threatened when LBJ joined worthy teammates, for good reason

As for the OP, the answer is a low percentage. It's just extremely difficult to win 6 titles, even with out of this world ability. He has a shot, sure, but the odds are stacked against him. And he will always regret leaving 1 on the table against the mavs.

MJ won 6 straight basically, and people ate that stuff up.
