Are you telling me his son offed himself because of daddys disapproval?

Does everybody know that his son who committed suicide was gay? I don't think many people realize that. That's pretty damning when your old man is hanging out with James Dobson and condemning homosexuals for their behavior and then your son kills himself.
Is there any actual evidence of this? College-aged males have an elevated rate of clinical depression.

Agreed. He did some pretty shitty things back in his day too. Coaches spend so much time with the team that I don't think they can argue family man at any point in their HC careers.

They wouldn't have needed to face the Chargers if not for this guy catching the dropsies with the AFC Championship on the line...

Not in Dungy's case. That's why Art Shell was the first black coach in the modern era--a lot of people expected it to be Dungy because he was a young coordinator under Chuck Noll. But he made it clear to every potential employer that his family was a higher priority than football, and that cost him some opportunities over the years. He finally got his shot in Tampa because they were so bad they could afford to take a chance on someone who didn't fit the traditional coaching mold.

He might have said that, but there is no coach out there working less than 60 hours a week.

I'm not sure about that. San Diego usually chokes in the playoffs and Marty has never done well in the playoffs. Would have been cool to see what two perennial chokers would have done with a trip to the Super Bowl on the line
San Diego has traditionally owned Indianapolis beating them four out of the last five games they've played them. And the Chargers have beaten the Colts the last two times they've faced them in the playoffs and one of the playoff wins came with Rivers or Tomlinson both being knocked out of the game with injuries. The Chargers had the best team in football and there's no question in my mind, they would have beaten the Colts.

You're wording is kinda weird here, so if I say what you were trying to, I'm sorry.
Pats beat SD and the Colts beat BAL to set up AFCCG. So what exactly were you saying in your post?

I realize that, but both teams had looked good in the playoffs and never done a whole lot in postseason. Marty is 5-13 in the playoffs. Would have been cool to see, is basically what I'm saying

Watch the game Kige. That was the one where Reggie Wayne tackled Ellis Hobbs and EH was called for pass interference. Marvin Harrison also ran out of bounds and caught a 30 yard pass because he was ineligible.

So Rex Ryan curses, please explain how the hell that is anything even close to being Tony Dungy's business.
I wouldnt say it's any of his business, but he was asked about it on the Dan Patrick Show and he gave his opinion on it. I dont agree with him, but he doesnt think the cursing is necessary.

Not a fair fight though. If Rex Ryan told Dungy to frick himself on HBO (as he should have) he would have been fined beyond belief. I love open discourse when both sides are playing with the same rules.

He mocks Tony Dungy as a father because his son committed suicide every chance he gets and gleefully wears it as a badge of honor that posters on this site who have some desire to maintain a modicum of taste and decency are offended by it. Religious intolerance at its finest.

Yeah, I really dont think anyone does. I was just wondering if he made this theory up on his own or he had heard this somewhere.

If Dungy's son is gay then his theory pretty much makes sense.

I am getting a little tired of the NFL, ESPN, or anyone else for that matter really making a story about what Tony Dungy really has to say about anyone or anything.
