3 players are currently on the IL due to Covid, Cortes, Peralta, Loaisagna
Torres and Nevin tested positive in May along with 8 others within the organization....
Two position players are testing positive as well, so either the Yankees aren't close to the 85% threshold as previously reported, these are the only ones not vaccinated, or they are testing everyone and finding players who received the shot.

Why are they testing vaccinated players? My hospital system doesnt even test doctors or nurses after know exposure if they are vaccinated
So its ok for people around patients to not get tested, but athletes do?

I’d imagine because there is much more pressure on professional sports leagues to continue the theatrics of covid testing. There is absolutely no reason to be testing vaccinated players and it’s bullshite since teams will allow 100% fan attendance when they know they’re not all vaccinated so they can start making back all the money they’ve lost in the past 18 months.
