While I think the dude is a total douche, you girls that don't watch hockey are being ridiculously over dramatic about this. He deserves a suspension and a big fine, not a ban.
Actually what needs to happen is for someone to grab him by the sweater and kick his arse for the next several games. Bring back the goons on the 4th line and this won't be a problem - the real issue is bleeding heart vaginas want fighting out of the sport and 10 game suspensions for hard hits.
