Tom Wilson of the Washington Capitals needs to be BANNED from the NHL.....

Tom Wilson is a POS.
Tom Wilson doing Tom Wilson things again. This time Artemi Panarin of the Rangers is the recipient of his shite-goonery. Earned him a 10 minute double-minor.
For those not familiar w/hockey/the NHL, Tom Wilson is a RW for the Washington Capitals.
This guy is gonna end someone's career or worse. Panarin is lucky Wilson didn't slam his head onto the ice.
He needs to BE BANNED from the NHL. Like suspended for the rest of this season and the playoffs and ALL of next season. Make him apply for reinstatement. Unfortunately Gary Betteman doesn't have the balls to do what needs to be done. Wilson is a blight and a cancer upon the NHL and he needs to be cleaned out. His shite is beyond old.

And of course right after I say this about Wilson the ruling has come down from the NHL, and big shocker, no suspension. Fined $5K. The maximum fine allowed under the CBA.
No suspension for Wilson. Just $5K fine.

Panarin probably needs to keep his small body out of the way of enforcers that are out there to put small guys out of games if they step up.

I am a Caps fan and biased, but if you are a skill player like Panarin, you cannot jump on Wilson and think he is going to say, Good day sir, enjoying the game?

At this point, I think it's a culmination penalty if anything. He was suspended 14 games (on appeal) for a hit on a Blues player just a couple years ago, after a couple other small suspensions in preseason games against the Blues the year before.

He was stepping up to a dude that just donkey punched his teammate in the back of his head.
Wrestling after the play happens from time to time, but players don't actively try to take a guy down to the ice when they aren't fighting. Especially a dude without a helmet, head first, by pulling him down by his hair.

Was that to the side or back of the head, wasn't exactly clear. Blows to the back of the head are illegal, if it's the side then fair play. I expected something egregious when OP was talking about lifetime bans, this video was a disappointment.
