He isn’t in the same tier as Gretzky, MJ, Babe, and Tiger/Jack Those individuals dominated their peers from a pure sports perspective. The titles are just the add ons Brady never dominated his peers like those guys did. There was always 3-5 players right there with him or ahead of him his whole career

Dude he has records that will never be broken. Get off the gate train and give him the respect at what he did for the NFL.

I have trouble using this term in a sport when people don’t play both ways(normally).

Tom is ahead of MJ for sure. Tom didn’t take 3 years off in the middle of his 22 years and Tom also won more titles.

His records will very likely be shattered by multiple players…..

And it just isn’t an argument man. When did Brady have a ten year stretch where there wasn’t a player even in his stratosphere?

He was fantastic, but MJ and Gretzky blew their peers away statistically, Brady just didn’t. It isn’t a knock it just is what it is

Legitimately shocking he’s going out after what he’s said about playing until 45 and the season he just had.

I heard he was tired of losing to the Saints.

He never dominated his peers like Lebron, no. But I don’t want to bring him up because the thread becomes an entire train wreck

Jerry rice is the closest football player to Wayne and MJ. Just statistically dominated his peers

Who? Given the length of careers these days with the likes of Luck and Megatron hanging up their shoes early. There is no one that will ever touch his records.

He’s ahead of Jack/Tiger, and seeing as you have two names you’re proving the point yourself

Huh?

His career achievements are incredible, but I can’t imagine anyone thinks he’s as good at football relative to peers as Tiger and Jack were.

Shocked he retired after a playoff loss at the top of his game, the NFL will never be the same. He’s the GOAT.
