I’m not a Dolphins fan but if the organization tanked last year for a QB and had 3 first round picks I’d be pissed if they didn’t go qb. And if they don’t pick their top pick on that QB how much do they like him? There may be a worse team next year that takes Lawrence.

And this draft is stacked at WR

Parker had 1 good year so far, need another reliable playmaker at the position.

He also had major problems with management, and injuries in the past.

You've missed my main point twice now

I would not have been picking 5 if trades were allowed. Please acknowledge this point before you post a response again.

The only QB off the board for your pick is Burrow who is 100% going to Cincy. There are other top QBs to take at 5.

I understand that if trades were allowed you’d trade the farm for Burrow but the choice you made sucked.

You missed it again dude. I'd trade BACK, not up for Burrow. In a trade back I'd ALSO gain more draft capital or players.

I don't deem any available QBs as a top 5 pick, I'm not picking them at 5.

Doing the best with what we're working with. Don't need to defend the pick any more to you fools. Let the mock play out.

The draft is loaded at WR. Even if you don't want any of the QBs, they have far and away the most value. You take them, as a placeholder, if lieu of a trade. Sorry, but it is a reach pick. Especially with how the draft has gone so far..

Well that’s not how I expected the top 5 to go.

Since we aren’t doing a true full mock, I have no sensitive to make trades. If I were the Redskins GM right now, I wouldn’t personally be all in on Haskins, but he’s only had one year in the league and he’s on a rookie deal. The most important resource you can provide a young quarterback is a quality offensive line in front of him.

My top two offensive linemen in this draft are Wirfs and Thomas. Wirfs has the higher ceiling but Thomas has the higher floor. With Trent Williams wanting out, I go with the safer pick that is more proven at OT.

I have said for months that my top 2 guys in this draft are Thomas and Jeudy. OL is the most important position group in a roster outside of QB plus this year’s draft is deep with receivers.

I’m not going to hate on any pick except for the lamb one, but everything I’ve read Thomas is the 4th best OL in this draft

8.) the Arizona Cardinals select Jerdrick Wills, OT Alabama

Cards need OL help, Wills is ready for the next level. He’s capable of playing guard or either tackle position

Considered Wirfs but think Cards go for a guy that’s more pro-ready with a slightly lower ceiling in Wills

with the 9th pick the Jacksonville Jaguars select
DL Derrick Brown, Auburn

the Jaguars parted ways with defensive tackle Marcell Dareus and traded defensive end Calais Campbell this offseason

Brown is the most exciting IDL since Aaron Donald (and he’s 6’5”/326.) He’s a run stopper that can get to the QB and should be a top 5 pick

With the 10th pick the Cleveland Browns select Mekhi Becton, OT Louisville,

The Browns added Conklin but still need to address the OL. It was between Becton or Wirfs, and the Browns opt for the bigger Becton. Becton should, at the minimum, be a road grading tackle. That fits perfectly into the Browns and Stefanski’s new offensive system which will heavily rely on the run game.

Wirfs and Thomas have been the top two going back to the Fall. Wills came on in December/January for whatever reason. Becton shot up the board because every year someone on the lines has an unexpected great combine so everyone overreacts and ignores their tape.

And PFF has Andrew Thomas as the best overall tackle available in the draft

3 year starter, was an elite pass and run blocker. The only offensive lineman who graded higher than him in the nation was the guy who will likely be a top 3 pick in next year’s draft, maybe even the top pick.

The Jets select Tristan Wirfs, OT Iowa

The Jets add another athletic lineman to rebuild their line after adding 3 new pieces in free agency. Wirfs will be given a shot at LT

And by their only data he’s the best performing lineman available in this draft and the safest pick.

They’ve been not so low key dumping on Herbert for months and I guarantee most of their mocks have him in the top 10.

But this is all for shits and giggles anyways. You and I both know this thing would have devolved into selectors overdrafting their college’s available draftees in short order, ignoring fit and need.
