If Bateman was smart he’d have gone down at the 14 after getting the 1st down. That way they could get a 1st down, run clock to 2 and win game. He went inside the 10 and now bengals have a chance, no matter what.

Playing not only 10 yards off the WR but then dropping off into coverage has to be some of the stupidest defensive playcalling I have ever seen.

Bengals have given up like 275 yards of offense and 21 points since the fumble with 7 min to go in the 3rd quarter

Yeah, the worst thing that can happen is a defensive penalty for a first down. Let them score or you’re done.
