Ties are fine. Since I became a huge soccer fan I’ve grown to like them. Sometimes it’s just the most appropriate outcome instead of forcing a victory.
It adds another wrinkle in any sport whose champion is determined over the course of a year.

I just saw the ending of the game highlight. Multiple people deserve to be fired. That is as unacceptable an outcome as I have ever seen. This is 2010 LSU Tennessee level of incompetence. How in the world does that happen?

Unless it's the postseason you don't need to have a winner.
Ties are better than dueling 2-point conversions or shootouts. CFB did just fine with them being allowed in the past.

No need for OT in any football unless it is a playoff game or “championship” game.
