The rematch on 1/9

Possibly LSU's shot at the 2007 BCSNCG as well; although both were unprecedented - a 2 loss team playing for it all and a rematch between divisional opponents, it was painful for the country to see Oklahoma State's season illegitimized by the Alabama media machine.

a 24/7 sports channel, the explosion of fantasy sports in general and fantasy football in particular, the ability to see literally every quasi-important sporting event live.

Jordan is better than kobe in every individual statistical category. Kobe has never won a playoff series without the best frontcourt in the NBA, and he was indisputably not the best player on his own team for over half his titles. Pippen was a great player, a vastly underrated player, something i like to bring up when people knock Lebron for going to Miami with wade. However, Pippen was nowhere near as dominant as Shaq was. And fwiw the bulls played a lot of the 98 season without pippen and he was hurt for alot of those playoffs, and a 35 year old jordan still willed his team to a title

I would also add the one year Jordan retired, Pippen became only the second player in NBA history to lead his team in five major statistical categories. Garnett and Lebron have done that since.

Was that the same year he sat out the last play in game 3 of the playoffs and let Kukoc take the winning shot?

Pippen being a baby back bitch

Sorry man, Jordan GOAT

I disagree that the Lakers had the best front court in the NBA, first of all. That's debatable and even if it is true, Jordan still had guys like Dennis Rodman and Horace Grant. Rodman is a HOF'er.

A lot of Jordan's stats are inflated because he played in the 90's. From 88 to 95, the NBA added six new teams and that was around the time Bulls hit their stride. Four of the six teams were in the East. You look at those teams and you'll see from 88 to around 97, those teams either did not qualify for the playoffs or lost in the first round. There were only two exceptions to this and one of them was Orlando who knocked the Bulls out of the playoffs the year Jordan came back out of retirement.

Kobe never had the benefit of playing in a conference where there were four expansion teams that could barely win 20 games. His competition was much better all around and that is not even debatable.

Pippen had a winning record every year and made the playoffs every year of his career except his final season; he only played 23 games that year due to injury.

Jordan without Pippen never had a team above .500 and only won one playoff game.

They just aren't getting the apples and oranges here. Let's use baseball as an analogy. If Jordan were a baseball player, he would be a prolific power hitter. He's a guy you can put in the fourth spot and expect to score and drive-in a lot of runs, but that in itself will not necessarily win games. He would get all the hype of course.

Yes, great... maybe the greatest, but Pippin would be a true HOF five-tool player and that is the rarest thing in baseball. A guy who can win a game no matter what the matchup is.

Need an extra base? Pippen

Need a throw from center field to preserve an inning? Pippen

Need a guy to hit for average when one of your best players is out? Pippen

Need good but not gaudy power numbers? Pippen

Need a guy that can change positions in a jam? Pippen.

The game has changed. MJ WENT THROUGH The BAD BOY Pistons and teams that were VERY PHYISICAL. Kobe has NOT had to go though that.

BUT for whatever reason YOU have to think Kobe is BETTER that's you.[even though I feel you NEVER saw MJ play.]
