I would argue getting up to your peak, then a sudden and immediate shut down, then attempting to get going going again is very difficult and tough for someone like lebron who is in his mid 30s
The rest benefit from the shut down probably really helped AD in getting healthy and making sure he was good to go. I stand by my take that it probably had a more negative impact on lebron and it showed during the restart games

AD was probably the only Laker that had any benefit from the postponment. The rest of that team looked so ugly out there during the restart.

The Lakers had no reasons to worry about the restart games other than to get their conditioning in.
They were already locked in as 1 seed anyway.

I hate these arguments. They will go down as champions.

This season was hyped up to be one of the best ever, but turned out to be a train wreck. The bubble was extremely boring, and every game looked like a scrimmage.

So Lebron is going to win a title with an “uninspired roster”? Just yesterday I was hearing this title should not count for Lebron because his roster is so loaded.
You Lebron haters need to start scheduling meetings to get your takes consistent. It’s coming off as petty and insecure.

2010-2011 Mavericks
2003-2004 Detroit Pistons
1998-1999 Spurs
2018-2019 Raptors
to name a few
But the NBA has always been a league with not a whole lot of parity, for the most part, on a yearly basis. Golden State and Lebron teams dominated the 2010s. The Lakers and Spurs dominated the 2000s. The Bulls dominated the 1990s. The Lakers, Celtic, and Pistons dominated the 1980s
Which is why it's so funny when people talk about so and so needing to go to a team full of good players to win. Yeah, that's been the case for decades in the NBA. Very rarely do you see teams like the Mavericks win. You generally see a team with at least 2 superstars win and you also see the same franchises and groups of players go on multiple year runs.

This is someone who either did not watch at all, or has no idea what they're even watching.

I think it will go down as the least watched Finals ever, and eventually will coincide with the downfall of the league.
1. Lebron alienates the fans.
2. People stop watching.
3. Ratings decline.
4. Player contracts decline.
5. ????????????

and generally not a fun team to watch imo.
guy catches a ball off of a rebound, and reverse dunks it to end the half.
not very entertaining.

Oh give me a break. A big part of sports is the fans. Shots like the one that Doncic hit against the clippers felt empty without having thousands of fans screaming in the stadium.

Simmons blamed injuries, refs, and the lakers hitting open 3s on last night in the first 5 mins of the russillo pod
