Agreed. Ole Miss Notre Dame would of been must see tv. Now we get to watch 2 blow outs. Plus side maybe bears vs packers will be a good one.

It's the definition of DEI.

Your breakdown is the definition of creating your own narrative. DEI has only been around for about 10-15 years conferences getting auto bids to bowls has been around since at least the 60s. Every conference winner gets in the basketball and baseball tournaments. Every division winner in pro sports make the playoffs. Not sure where you live but in the states I’ve lived in every team that wins its district makes the playoffs in their classification. Is that DEI?

Going back to the BCS the top 6 conferences were all guaranteed aNCS bowl. It changed to 5 after the Big East stopped being a FB conference. The morons never bothered to change it even after the SEC and B1G gutted the BigXII and destroyed the PAC 12 and ACC was watered down adding too many teams.

Since the CFB playoff is run by all 10 FBS conferences if you don’t want some of them involved then the Big boys will need to split off

I am not able to watch the Tulane vs Ole Miss game. Is Tulane competitive or get walked on? I mean 17-3 at halftime is still a close game

So teams that couldn’t earn the right to play for the conference championship should be in?

Tulane is getting blasted for losing to a 6-6 team but Texas losing to a 4 win team is fine.

That’s just wonderful logic.

Multiple 10 plus win seasons, multiple conference championships, AND a playoff appearance this decade from Tulane and LSU fans want to argue something that is undisputed by other fan bases lol. Oh yeah! Tulane did this al WITHOUT stealing millions from a children’s hospital. How do you rob sick kids and STILL be second rate?

Corn Jamal you start 57 threads every weekend and you don’t know about LSU stealing millions from a children’s hospital? Then again they have a new scandal every month over there at Trailer Park University.

Tulane looks better than TAMU or Miami did earlier, and arguably as good as OU.

Upvote. Tulane is giving it everything they have and its not even remotely interesting.

At least well never have TWO shitty small schools in again after Oregon hangs 65 on JMU

Texas would beat the ever living shite out of Tulane is my point. No one wants to watch Tulane in the CFP regardless of the outcome of this game.

We will never know because Texas couldn’t beat a 4 win team.

And if you don’t like football you should take up journaling. You would probably enjoy slam poetry as well.

Why are all these "the G5 shouldn't be in the playoffs" arguments just now coming up? Were y'all unaware of how this worked until the last two weeks?

We all knew there would be one wasted game, but now because of the stupid auto-bid rules there are 2.

The G5 teams have no business here. These are the games the P4 teams open the season with as tune up games. They've got no place occupying championship contending slots in a 12 team playoff.

Ole Miss and Miami have no business occupying spots in the playoff either by that logic. Neither are winning jack shite.

Good luck getting it changed as long as ESPN has a say in things. Next year ND gets an auto bid also.
