And the Lions are the only one with a positive point differential at +2.

The other at least lukewarm team is the Panthers who control their own destiny so good for them I guess.

Jags have an even point differential for the season after beating Tennessee's arse yesterday. That's a team to watch for next season.

Yep. Took a while to wipe the stench of Urban away but future is bright.

Looking at their respective schedules, that week 18 game between Jags & Tenn could be for the South.

Tenn: @LAC, Hou, Dal, @ Jax
Jags: Dal, @NYJ, Hou, Tenn

Assume both lose to Dal and beat Hou. If Tenn loses to LAC and Jax beats NYJ, this could be one of the few games that matter in week 18

Would be funny to have both South teams having home field adv in WC games with losing records

If that happens I think you get calls for the seeding to change after this year. Your reward for winning the division should only be that you are in the playoffs.

I need a spreadsheet for Henry’s rushing stats before I can make a determination

It’s interesting how awful NFL teams in the south have been over the years compared to how good college football teams have been in the south. Saints, Bucs, Falcons, and Jaguars are historically four of the worst franchises in the NFL and the Dolphins haven’t won a Super Bowl in nearly 50 years.

Love how the Vikings at 10-3 have a -1 point differential

That's pretty damn incredible.

I mean, how are you 1st in your division and sitting at 10-3 with a negative point differential. That's got to be a really bad offense and really good defense.

I honestly haven't watched a Vikings game to even know.

Win all the close ones and get your doors beaten off in the losses

I meant to look this up today to see if the 5-8 Raiders had a better point differential than the Vikings.

No, the Raiders are -5. However, the 5-8 Jags have pulled ahead.

NFC:
Eagles, Cowboys, Giants are 100+ ahead of every other team in the conference.

AFC:
Bills: 132
Chiefs: 86
Bengals: 70
Ravens: 51
Patriots: 23
Jets: 21

I don't know how common it is but I love when goofy shite like this happens.

The Packers did this in 2005. They were +9 PF/PA after starting 1-7. They lost a bunch of close games, but they merked the Saints 52-3 for their one win.

They were +9 at 2-9 and +/- 0 at 3-10. It wasn't until the Ravens beat the shite out of them in week 15 that the point differential finally looked a little more sensible
