Kuss with another crash today only a couple miles from the finish. 2nd in 3 days. Still remains in 2nd in GC and down by only 8 seconds. The man is already a GD legend. JBV would not be anywhere near where they are these days without him. Post 2 updated with results and standings.

Kuss is amazing. Hope TJV pays him accordingly. He's done all grand tours this year.

And he's in red.

And Remco don't need no domestiques.

I’d have the same look on my face as this guy if he does…

I know...it's preposterous but the storyline would be amazing.

I wish they would work for Sepp, but they probably wouldn’t in this situation. The TT will maybe explain a lot. I would love an American GC winner.

New drinking game. Take a sip everytime every time Roll or Vande Velde on the Peacock broadcast say “They are going FULL CRI” during a stage.

You’ll be in liver failure by the rest day on Monday.
It’s absurd

Seemed like Jumbo Visma gave him the chance to see if he could hold a gap on the last climb and put time into everybody. I don't think that was just setting up a bridge from Primoz or Jonas.

The obvious problem with this Vuelta is that the GC is too stacked but Sepp's still go a lot of years left and I could see him winning a future Vuelta against a lesser field like Horner did.

Would have much preferred a cyclocross slog through the mud at the top than the weak dick finish we were treated to. Vuelta always seems like a Chinese Fire Drill.

I went full VPN + GCN this year. Getting treated to the docile tones of Kirby who is also hilarious btw.

Taking the Peloton time at 2.6km while the peloton was fractured is so on brand for this year's organizers.
I've seen better run local youth crits. This has been something else. Let's go Durango Kid! Shock the World!!!

The hilarity continues. Great to see Sepp in red.

That late stage bush league split finish nonsense

This Vuelta is the gift that keeps in giving.

Sepp got into a large break with 3 teammates and other GC guys also had teammates. So they just absolutely whacked the breakaway and pulled out up to 8 minutes at one point on the day but was down to 4 when they hit the bottom of the last climb. Next climbing stage the guy in red got dropped putting Kuss in red
