Rider List By Team
How do the Jerseys Differ from The TDF?
Not Much: Maillot Rojo instead of Maillot Jaune
"I thought of that while riding my bicycle." (The Theory of Relativity)
-Albert Einstein
"Nothing compares to the simple pleasure of riding a bike."
-John F. Kennedy (and this man knew pleasure!)
"If the hills get too hard, just get off and walk, I'm sure the boys will wait for you!
-Beryl Burton OBE
"If I can Bicycle, I bicycle."
-Sir David Attenborough
“Get a bicycle. You will not regret it, if you live.”
-Mark Twain (Taming The Bicycle)
Where Can I Watch It?

The Vuelta a España, with one of its strongest fields in years, airs live on Peacock, CNBC, NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app starting Saturday. The Vuelta is traditionally the third and final men's cycling three-week Grand Tour following May's Giro d'Italia and July's Tour de France.
It's no TDF but that's not necessarily a bad thing this year!!!!
Let's Ride.

I am pumped. Finishes on the Angliru and Tourmalet.
Looking forward to seeing if Ayuso can take another step up vs the big boys.

Team Time Trial to get us started in the morning! FINALLY!
Kudos to Vuelta for bringing back one of the most awesome and entertaining formats in cycling . Been a few years, though stage one for it is a safe choice.
Rooting for the Aliens obviously.

Gonna need Obtuse and BlackCoffee up in here as well.

What a joke this TTT was today. A crit course with rain and darkness for the late finishers. This discipline is about power contested on open roads and should never be contested on the kind of a course. Just mho, but that was trash.

That was epic and insane. Classic Vuelta ish

Sorry, I was out riding a TTT in the pouring rain, with thunder and lightning... in the frickin' dark.
Vuelta organizers are straight-up madmen.

This is the craziest shite I have seen since Froome ran up Ventoux

So glad this tour is leaving Barcelona! Maybe now we can let the real racing begin.

Looking forward to see them not in Barcelona.

I want to see a cage match between Remco and Jonas to decide who is the actual patron of this Vuelta.
Plus frick neutralizing the peloton with a break up the road and no GC standings of consequence yet. I like Roglic but on the second stage when nobody is in red I don't believe in settling the pack especially when there is a break down the road.
The finish tomorrow should separate the men from the boys.

I've been anticipating the Vuelta for a while now and never bothered to look at the start time for Stage 1. I was shocked to find they'd be racing in the dark toward the end.
I didn't get the neutralization on Stage 2 from the riders. I feel like I missed something. Seemed like they panicked because Roglic went down and decided that was enough.
Oh, and the road furniture - I could not believe what I saw on Stage 2 and I'm shocked there wasn't a pile up at several locations. There was a not-too-visible pole sticking out of the road on one of the bends at a traffic circle. I could not believe they didn't have a massive crash there. I thought it was going to get ugly.
This race is off to a strange start.
Been watching Remco's youtube channel a bit. Some interesting stuff. He was not planning for darkness on Stage 1, that's for sure. Dude be mad. I don't blame him.

This fricking race…if a meteor hit the peloton tomorrow I wouldn’t be surprised.
