I think I have found the dullest event in televised history. Everyone involved in this has the energy and charisma of a bowl of mashed potatoes.
It's because they know the order is BS. It's almost 16-1 exactly. Anyone who has ever gambled knows a lottery doesn't work like that.
I'll have to look at the results again. I was so perplexed about this is supposed to be something exciting. I think the last time I watched was when NBC did the lottery a couple of years ago.
I think everything 30 minutes ago from 16-6 was exactly the odds, then the teams that flipped the odds were only one-off their original odds/placement? Pretty close the last time I watched.
I thought it might be a little different on ESPN, the way they explained the format was terrible... I was left more confused. I pretty much already knew how the format worked/works, just needed a brief refresher.

Who is considers the best player in Vegas?
You could possibly make an argument for Carlson or Stone but my vote would go to Eichel.

They are way more balanced.
Lot of contenders for that distinction. Eichel, marchesseault, shea Theodore, all good players. Someone who watches Vegas closer would have to chime in

These teams are The Beatles but their goaltending is Yoko Ono.
McDavid is Paul to Draisaitle's Lennon.

And not just in a straight line. He can slalom in between players like they were traffic cones.

This needs to be in TNT next year with Biz and Tav and the crew going ape shite after every turn of the card.
Why would you want Biz to cover that? Was he pissed when the Leafs "won" the lottery and got Auston Matthews with the #1 pick? Don't feel sorry for the Leafs. They think they are hockey royalty. They deserve the draft, all-star game and winter classic them every year.
They haven't won the cup since 1967.
He was the captain of the OHL team where I'm from. (I'm not or have never lived in Canada) I know people that were tight with him. Big arse Leafs homer. He played for Pittsburgh and Arizona.
Lee me guess on Wednesday night... Leafs 5-3 then in 7.
Let me add that biz is hilarious. The TNT crew is hilarious for that matter. I like when people get emotional about their team(s).

VGK staying out of the box keeping the Oiler PP off the ice

That sucks arse. I was hoping the Blue Jackets or one of the West Coast markets would get it.

I don't think Nugent Hopkins was rated anywhere hear as high as Bedard.

Both expansion teams are deep but don’t have a true star player. They are like 4 lines of guys with 2nd line talent.

How many times tonight is Edmonton going to pass up a quality shot on an odd man rush only to misconnect on a pass and come away without even getting a shot on goal?

Biz is a Leafs homer. Love the passion though, it adds that fan element to the broadcast. He's a Coyote homer too, puts on the headgear and howls. It's just fun.
That crew is good though. They're fun, quirky, Biz will be the first guy to clown himself. Just way more energy than the ESPN crew.

I know even 3 down Oilers are still alive but these alternating blowouts in this round are getting annoying

Can any team in the playoffs not named the Florida Panthers have their heads in two playoff games in a row?
