Edmonton's goaltending might be Yoko Ono and Linda McCartney.

What are the chances Evander Kane does something in the third period that leads to him getting a misconduct penalty?
I say the odds are 80/20.

Over 6.5 loses after a goal-less 3rd period.

Other than Maple Laughs/Panthers yesterday, we've been on a lengthy run of clunkers.

It's hard to find a clear cut choice. Mark Stone is the Captain and he obviously plays a huge role. William Karlsson is an excellent two way player. Jack Eichel takes lots of ish but he's excellent at setting up opportunities for others. They're a lot like the Seattle Kraken in that they're extremely balanced and it seems like someone different steps up on a given night. Now, with Brossoit likely out for a significant time, VGK get to test their goaltending depth again. Adin Hill looks to be the obvious starter for Game 4, the question will be if Jonathan Quick or Jiri Patera is his backup. Logan Thompson is at least a week away.

Devastating news for the Avalanche as they announce Gabe Landeskog will miss the 2023-2024 season due to a cartilage replacement surgery tomorrow in Chicago.
One would have to think that his playing career, at least at the level we last saw him, is possibly over.
It's crazy how much these dudes sacrifice to go win the Cup.

If it doesn't work out for him, at least he got a ring. He's contracted through 08/09, but the chances of him being able to play at the same level again is pretty slim. Hoping for the best for him.

Oh man that is devastating
Have to think his career is done, makes that Cup last year even more important
Hell I may have seen him play in his last game ever in person and watched him hoist the Cup
You'd have to think from a realistic standpoint that can free up some cap room to go at a second center in the offseason right?

I thought the NHL banned those crazy long contracts? 86 years is insanity.
