I was resigned to the #2 pick at best. Then ESPN fricked everything up without even announcing the pick properly.

I can't even fricking rationalize this. Our team won meaningless fricking games all throughout a god damned terrible stretch for a 3rd pick.

I'm a Blackhawks fan and I think this is a curse. Is Bedard really that generational? I heard the same about Ryan Nugent-Hopkins. Seems there is a "generational" pick every year.
The Blackhawks need much, much more than one player. I'd consider trading for a haul.

The only silver lining in it all is Anaheim not winning it despite having the best odds. I was going to be livid if that happened given how the Jackets totally ruined their odds the last 3 weeks.

Okay so much for staying off of Skinner's back. He has to stop that. I like everything about these two teams except the goaltending. These teams are The Beatles but their goaltending is Yoko Ono.
