Only one needs to opt out for that to happen

In the spirit of FSU, Kansas had the better record.

Tell me you have a double standard without saying you have a double standard.

So many hypocrites, so little time.

Kansas won their conference in 2007? That’s news to, well, everyone except for you apparently.

The most apt comparison would be 2011 Bama. Wonder why Kansas didn’t get the same treatment?

Correct, Kansas did have a better record, but according to the agreed upon measurable metrics under the rules of the BCS, LSU was ranked second. I understand polls played a part in the ranking, but the selection criteria was clearly defined and universally applied to all teams before and during the season and collection process.

What metrics that are defined and used to select the four teams invited to the playoffs did Alabama best FSU in?

Well FSU and Norvell has a history of canceling a game when they know they are getting waxed. See Clemson game in 2020, Clemson was already in Tallahassee.

In all seriousness, they got screwed the 3rd string qb was a front. Everyone knew the 2nd guy would at least be back.

You bama fans were already inbred douches. Now you're just being intentionally insufferable.

My guess is FSU has some pissed off players that may decide not to play and get ready for the draft and maybe FSU doesn't want to put a team out there against a very quality UGA team without their best players.

Because UGA has no players that feel they're one of the 4 best teams and may sit out to improve their draft stock?

I understand that FSU feels robbed and I agree, but trying to back out of the Orange Bowl (if that's truly what is happening) is just throwing a tantrum at this point.

You would have to stop going 5-5, 6-7, 9-4, and 9-3 to find out.

Don't worry about do-overs, try to concentrate on do-better.

It’s always amazing how defensive Bama fans are about the preferential treatment… I’d be stoked if ESPN manipulated the weak willed committee members to put my undeserving team in on multiple occasions.

Instead of being defensive on this site, just sit back and enjoy the ride… you did not earn, er, I mean you’ve earned it.
